MEET MARY
Mary Hanley, LMSW
Licensed Master Social Worker
Both as a therapist and a fellow human being, I know firsthand how turbulent our world can be and how this can affect one's psyche. We all go through hardship, and it is in those low moments that we need the most support.
I work from a person-centered, top-down approach that recognizes how all layers of one's life contribute to who they are and where they will go. I primarily practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Existential frameworks. If you need a place to feel seen, feel heard, and a place that pushes you to heal and grow, I would be honored to be that person for you.
In particular, I have over 6 years of experience working with people affected by cancer and other chronic health conditions, caregivers to the chronically ill, people with mood disorders, and those grieving the loss of a loved one. Life changes can be scary, but I aim to be someone who can walk that path with you and assist you feeling supported on wherever your journey.
