Available Positions:

This position will be a hybrid of telemedicine and in-person sessions.

Therapists can choose their own schedule (contingent on office space availability).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 25 weekly clients for full-time or a minimum of 10 billable session hours weekly for part-time

  • Keep documentation and maintain client files in timely manner using an electronic health record

  • Provide consultation calls with prospective clients

  • Attend monthly staff meeting and attend weekly consultation

  • Acknowledge and respond to relevant client queries, needs and expectations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Licensed Therapist (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC-LP) and associate applicants

  • Able to conduct a confidential telehealth session remotely with proper technology

  • Able to do in-person sessions at our Nassau or Suffolk office

  • Experience working with couples or a willingness to work with couples

  • Some evening and/or weekend availability

  • Able to develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with warmth and directness

  • Passion for CBT, mindfulness, polyvagal theory - play and art interest or training a plus

  • Eagerness to work with children and provide play therapy is preferred.

  • Committed to personal growth, continuing education and professional development

  • Private practice minded (independent worker, dependable, organized, good time management skills)

  • Thorough knowledge of emotional disturbances and mental health diagnoses
