MEET LISA

Lisa Ferraro, LMSW

Licensed Master Social Worker

When we’re in pain, we can feel trapped, hopeless, or even stuck. We may seek external validation through our relationships and careers, but it may feel as if something is still missing. It can feel like an unsolvable puzzle, an existential void, or simply an inability to create lasting change.

But there are ways to understand and process what’s happening inside—and that journey can begin here. My goal is to help you gain insight into the challenging patterns and emotions that may have impacted your ability to show up as your most authentic self. Together, we’ll work to grow your self-awareness, challenge your inner critic, deviate from self-destructive thoughts, and improve the quality of your relationships.

As a licensed social worker, my approach is primarily holistic and relational, but I integrate tools from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness based therapy (MBT) with individuals— all firmly grounded in a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship.

I am especially passionate about supporting clients in navigating relationship conflict, life transitions, assertive communication, disordered eating, and generalized anxiety. I have experience helping people with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and trauma. I have worked with multiple populations including individuals with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses, and children with developmental disabilities.
