Life is not about the absence of struggles but how we approach them to grow from them & know ourselves better in the process. Each of us deserves compassion, openness, and genuine regard when it comes to life's difficulties. My aim is to be an active support in my client's challenges so that they can learn independence, insight, and trust in themselves by virtue of our time together.
I am here to accompany you on your healing journey so you can live a life of greater authenticity, meaning, and connection. I utilize strengths-based, solution-focused techniques to help you navigate daily life and times of transition, loss, or crisis. I aim to create a safe, warm, and empowering environment where you can share, explore and ultimately find your authentic self.
I have worked with individuals with a history of trauma, depression, anxiety, chronic and terminal illnesses, and substance use disorders. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing & solution-focused treatment modalities. I have 8+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, couples, and adults experiencing a wide array of difficulties. I have expertise in working with clients seeking to address symptoms related to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive issues, trauma, divorce, non-traditional family dynamics, and LGBTQIA+ issues.
It takes courage to recognize a need for support. It takes even greater courage to ask for it outright by scheduling a consultation.
“Loretta is a kind and compassionate professional. Her passion and skill to help others are gifts.”
